Put Your Links in Your Articles: Give Your Links Meanings

Rank algorithm update from google weeded out a lot of good or bad websites,   in the hope of furnishing it’s search users better results, according to their official blog, this change impacts 11.8% organic search results, say it another way, almost 12% of google search results are useless or of low quality. They planned and started the update about one year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, the good thing is that those keywords promoted by content rich links are not affected, a few of these keywords ranked better than ever, it becomes clear that linking campaign the old way is the thing of past, probably due to links crammed sites being tossed out by google.

Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? a lot of marketing companies did and are doing the plain link building, they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, the only updates on those websites are the new links, almost all of them are garbage, we call these sites link spamming sites. Now google algorithm probably will weed out these sites, any links on them will be affected too. 

A few real world examples will help to explain what I said. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I needed to rank the keyword, Ratchet Binders, at that time almost every body was doing plain linking campaign, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, eventually the keyword could be found on first page, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain pullers, most back links for this keyword are from articles and posts, with very few plain links, the rank for this keyword is making me real happy. Now contextual links win the battle, then what? It all boils down to content, when you create unique and quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, take a look at this blog, best smartphone , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, the result? I got nice ranking for a few realy nice keywords now. Now you can see, creating quality content and article marketing is what we have to do to get great result. Bottom line is that you should create great content, publish and share with people, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, as long as you don’t stop doing this, you will win over customers and search engines. Blogging or Article Submission: You Need Both

Lately google made some changes to their ranking algorithm,   in the name of providing more relevant search results for it’s users, on official google blog it is estimated 11.8% search results will be affected by this update, put it this way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. The update was initiated more than a year ago, no wonder I saw a few of my keywords’ ranks dropped like a rock, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it’s obvious that link building the old way is the thing of past, probably due to link spamming sites being tossed out by google.

What is old way of link building any way? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this,  they put your links on websites which only exist for holding links, the content on those sites will never be updated, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, we call these sites link spamming sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  the links on those spamming sites won’t work anymore.  

Let’s check out a few examples. It was quite some time ago, I started promote the keyword, camo blanket, it was old way of link building all the way, a lot of sites I used had too many links, worst yet, those sites had no content at all. I would give credit where credit is due, this linking strategy worked, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, the party was over when google updated it’s algorithm. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain puller , we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, with very few plain links, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? Actually this is all about content, when you create unique and quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. How do you do it? Writing articles and building blogs, such as this interesting blog, baby strollers , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, and to my surprise, I have high ranks for some of  competitive keywords. As far as SEO concerned, quality blog marketing is much better than plain link building. Now imagine you have your own blog network, for instance bungee cord, you will have the power to push any sites up in search engines.

Remember content is king, you just need to create content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, your effort will reward you handsomely in the end. The virtues, persistence and patience, are essential for your success, you shouldn’t expect things to improve overnight, i.e., selling online or improve your search rankings, now all we need to do is to give our love for creating and sharing nice content and not to worry about the ranking all the time. When publisinh articles, I prefer ezine, a new article will be indexed and cached in less than an hour, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, let look at some aticles or posts which are published and indexed, for instance, Grade 70 Chain , quality content, nice presentation, indexed by google, this article serves it’s purpose well.
